The Diploma in Nautical Studies at DUT provides the maritime training and theoretical knowledge required for an international career at sea. Durban, South Africa's busiest port, makes KwaZulu-Natal a natural home for this qualification, which covers marine mathematics, marine science, electronic navigation, shipboard operations, and communication.
