The Diploma in Animal Health at the University of South Africa (Unisa) is a three-year open distance learning qualification that trains students in the principles and practice of animal health management, disease control, and veterinary public health. Admission requirements: National Senior Certificate (NSC) with Diploma endorsement and at least 50% in the language of teaching and learning, at least 50% in Mathematics, and at least 40% in one of Physical Science, Life Sciences, or Agricultural Science, or an appropriate Higher Certificate in Animal Welfare or Life and Environmental Sciences.
