Hortgro offers bursaries to students interested in careers within the South African deciduous fruit industry. It provides undergraduate and postgraduate funding, mentorship, internships, and work-integrated learning opportunities to equip students for the agricultural sector. Preference is given to disciplines that support ethical trade, sustainable agriculture, and industry development.
