2027 Wilmar SA Bursary

Overview/Details

The Wilmar SA Bursary supports South African students entering their final year of an undergraduate degree in 2027, across fields including Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources Management, and related disciplines.

Bursaries are awarded based on financial need and academic potential, targeting students from historically disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds as defined under the Employment Equity Act.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within two weeks of the closing date. If no feedback is received within this period, the application should be considered unsuccessful. Final selection remains at Wilmar SA’s discretion.

Requirements

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Qualify as a Historically Disadvantaged Person and/or come from an underprivileged background as defined in the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998.
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in one of the eligible fields: Accounting, Agro-economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources Management, International Trade, Operations Management, Production Management, Marketing or a sales-related field, or Supply Chain.
  • Be entering your final year of undergraduate studies in 2027.
  • Be studying at an accredited South African institution of higher learning.
  • Have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% in your most recent examinations.
