KPMG Southern Africa offers two bursary options designed to support students pursuing a SAICA-accredited qualification and a future career as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)). Applications are currently open.
The Pure Merit Bursary is awarded based purely on academic results. The Merit Bursary with Financial Need is for academically strong students who also require financial assistance. KPMG reserves the right to determine which bursary type an applicant qualifies for, and the amount awarded.
Please note that a bursary contract is subject to the recipient entering into a learnership (training contract) with KPMG once they have completed their studies at a SAICA-accredited university, specifically upon obtaining a CTA or GDA qualification.
Applicants must be studying a SAICA-recognised degree full-time and completing it in the minimum number of years (a one-year course may not be split over two years).
