Overview/Details

The Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) invites South African citizens to apply for its Chartered Accountancy Bursary Programme. The bursary is designed for students pursuing, or intending to pursue, Chartered Accountancy studies through a SAICA-endorsed university, in qualifications such as the BCom Accounting (CA stream) or the Bachelor of Accounting (CA stream).

Successful applicants receive comprehensive financial support covering tuition fees, university accommodation, meals, and prescribed books. In return, recipients commit to completing their articles through a training contract with the AGSA upon graduation, providing a clear pathway from university into a professional career in a SAICA-accredited training environment.

This is an Employment Equity position, and the bursary offers career-focused development and the opportunity to contribute to strengthening accountability and good governance in South Africa.
