2025 South African Association of Botanists (SAAB) Scholarship

• Must be a resident of a SADC country, including:
  • South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Swaziland, Angola, Malawi, DRC, Tanzania, Seychelles, Mozambique, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Comoros.
• Must be studying a postgraduate qualification in botany or a related field.
• Must have graduated with a minimum overall average of 70%.
• Must be studying at a recognised South African university.
• Must have a supervisor who is a paid-up SAAB member.
• MSc students:
  • Must have completed a BSc Honours degree with a minimum 70% average.
  • Must be in their first year of MSc study.

• A personal motivational letter describing research interests.
• Motivational letter from supervisor.
