The Diploma in Electrical Engineering at MUT trains students to apply technical knowledge and engineering principles to electrical systems, operating within South African and international standards. Instrumentation and Control Technician – Maintains and calibrates measurement instruments and control systems in process plants, mines, and refineries.
Renewable Energy Technician – Installs and commissions solar PV, wind, and battery storage systems in South Africa’s growing independent power producer sector.
Building Services Engineer (Technician level) – Designs and oversees electrical installations in commercial and residential buildings in compliance with SANS 10142.
