This degree equips students with the knowledge and clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across the lifespan. It covers areas such as language development, voice, fluency, hearing, and augmentative communication within the South African multilingual and multicultural context. Graduates are trained to work with diverse populations including those affected by neurological conditions, developmental delays, and acquired disorders.
