The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with specialisation in Agricultural Economics at the University of Fort Hare equips students with the analytical tools to understand and improve the economics of agricultural systems in South Africa. Students study farm enterprise management, agricultural markets, rural development economics, and agribusiness strategy, preparing them to contribute to the transformation and growth of South Africa's agricultural sector, including emerging and smallholder farmer development in the Eastern Cape.
