Details

The BCom 4 Accounting (Extended Curriculum) at UKZN (Pietermaritzburg and Westville) extends the standard BCom Accounting over four years, providing additional academic support and development for students from disadvantaged school backgrounds who demonstrate the potential to succeed in accounting study. The programme is designed to broaden access to the accounting profession — one of South Africa's highest-demand skill areas — by equipping students with the mathematical and literacy competencies needed alongside core accounting content. On successful completion, graduates hold the full BCom (Accounting) qualification and may pursue postgraduate study toward the CA(SA) designation.
