The Diploma in Analytical Chemistry at DUT recognises specialised knowledge, skills, and understanding required by the chemical and allied industries. Students develop competencies in organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry — applied to industries including detergents, petroleum, plastics, food, pharmaceuticals, mining, water treatment, and metallurgy. A nine-month Work Integrated Learning component in an industrial setting ensures that graduates can apply their skills under real-world conditions. Graduates may pursue further study through the Advanced Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
