Details

The Extended Bachelor of Arts in Law at UJ provides an additional foundational year before students progress into the mainstream BA Law curriculum. This four-year programme supports students who demonstrate potential for legal study but require further academic preparation, developing the same legal knowledge, critical reasoning, and language skills as the mainstream BA Law. The extended route is available exclusively to first-time entering students with no prior higher education enrolment. Graduates may proceed to postgraduate LLB study to qualify for legal practice.
