The Bachelor of Community Development at the University of the Western Cape prepares graduates to facilitate sustainable development in South Africa's townships, rural areas, and marginalised urban communities. Rooted in UWC's founding mission of serving South Africa's historically disadvantaged populations, this programme develops skills in community engagement, project management, social development, and participatory research, equipping graduates to drive meaningful change across the Western Cape and nationally.
