The Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and Labour Relations Management at NWU is a three-year degree offered at the Potchefstroom and Vanderbijlpark campuses, combining workplace psychology with the legal and practical dimensions of labour relations. Students study employment law, collective bargaining, dispute resolution, and organisational behaviour alongside I/O psychology, equipping them to navigate South Africa's highly regulated and complex labour environment. The degree prepares graduates for careers in HR management, labour relations consulting, and organisational development, where understanding both the psychological and legal dimensions of the employment relationship is essential. It also provides a foundation for postgraduate I/O psychology training towards HPCSA registration.
