DataFin Junior Backend/Data Developer – 6-Month Internship

A fast-paced Financial Risk Specialist firm is seeking an ambitious coder to join their team as a Junior Backend/Data Developer. The successful candidate will support the development and maintenance of backend systems for client and internal applications, contributing to the initiation and early-stage development of new application projects.​

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development and Integration:

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support data exchange and integration with third-party services.​
  • Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and efficient, adhering to established standards.​

• Database and Data Management:

  • Manage data, including query optimization and data validation.​
  • Support data handling processes to maintain accuracy, integrity, and performance for both ongoing systems and new applications.​

• Backend Development and Maintenance:

  • Assist in backend development for existing client and internal applications.​
  • Ensure efficient data processing and secure handling of sensitive information, such as personal data.​

• Technical Support:

  • Provide first-line support for technical issues, troubleshoot application errors, and guide users through solutions.​

• Frontend Frameworks (Basic Knowledge):

  • Possess a basic understanding of frontend frameworks to assist with integration, though not necessarily developing complex frontend features.
