Crime Analyst – Analyses crime patterns and statistics to support operational decision-making in the SAPS, municipal police departments, and government crime intelligence structures.
Probation Officer – Supervises community-based sentences and develops rehabilitation plans for offenders on behalf of the Department of Justice and Correctional Services.
Victim Support Coordinator – Coordinates support services for crime victims in SAPS victim support rooms, Thuthuzela Care Centres, and survivor support NGOs across South Africa.
Correctional Services Officer – Works within South Africa’s correctional system to manage, support, and facilitate rehabilitation of sentenced offenders.
Social Worker (Criminology Focus) – Applies criminological insight to social work practice, working with at-risk individuals and families to prevent entry into the criminal justice system.
