The Bachelor of Administration in Human Resource Management at NWU's Mahikeng campus is a three-year degree that trains students in the management and development of people within South African organisations. Students study labour law, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, and organisational behaviour, equipping them to manage the most complex and valuable resource in any organisation — its people. South Africa's labour market is shaped by complex legislation including the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and Employment Equity Act, making HR professionals who understand this regulatory environment indispensable to businesses across all sectors. Graduates are eligible for membership with the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP).
