The Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies Extended Curriculum Programme at the University of Limpopo provides an extended access pathway for students who require additional academic preparation before progressing through the full Media Studies curriculum over four years. Students develop skills in media production, journalism, digital communication, and critical media analysis alongside strengthened academic literacy and research skills. The extended programme supports UL's commitment to producing media graduates from communities that are underrepresented in South Africa's media industry, contributing to greater diversity in the country's media landscape.
