The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BEngTech) in Mechanical Engineering at UJ is a three-year ECSA-accredited degree that prepares engineering technologists to apply mechanical engineering principles in industrial, manufacturing, and maintenance environments. Students engage with thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, manufacturing processes, materials, and mechanical design — equipping graduates for careers across South Africa's automotive, mining, energy, and manufacturing industries.
