This extended programme offers an additional foundational year of preparation before progression into the main BCom Economics and Econometrics curriculum. It builds the quantitative and analytical foundation required to engage with economic theory and research methods at degree level, broadening access to the economics profession in South Africa for students who show potential but require further academic preparation.
