The Diploma in Information Technology (Extended Curriculum Programme) at MUT is a four-year version of the standard three-year IT diploma, designed to provide additional academic support and preparation for students who show potential but require more time to develop their mathematical and technical foundations. The programme covers the same specialisations — Software Development and Communication Networks — and produces graduates with the same qualifications and career readiness as the mainstream programme, making it an accessible pathway for students from under-resourced school backgrounds.
