Tomorrow Trust, in collaboration with the FirstRand Foundation Trust (comprising FNB, RMB, and WesBank), administers these prestigious postgraduate bursaries in specific disciplines. Established in 1998, the FirstRand Foundation is the conduit through which FirstRand Limited and its major franchises channel their corporate social investment. The bursary package not only covers tuition, textbooks, accommodation, food, and transport but also offers a stipend or living allowance.

Who Can Apply:

The FirstRand Foundation Honours Bursary welcomes applications from:

  1. Current Final-year Undergrad Students (studying in 2023)
  2. Graduates who completed their undergrad between January 2021 and December 2023 (Not studying in 2023)
  3. Those aged between 18 and 35, who are South African citizens
  4. Students with a minimum of 60% for Mathematics in Matric
  5. Applicants with an average of 60% or above for their undergraduate degree
  6. Individuals pursuing their 3rd year of a 4-year honours-level degree in 2022
  7. Full-time students in 2023
  8. Those who meet the financial qualification criteria (combined gross family income of up to R600,000 per annum)
  9. Preference will be given to students defined by the BBBEE Act
