It works exactly like universities
Everything you already know about how UniApplyForMe works applies to colleges too. Your APS score and subject marks are used to calculate which college programmes you qualify for. You will see your matches highlighted, you can save programmes you like, and you can go straight to the application from inside the app.
We built something important into this
One thing we noticed over the years is that learners sometimes apply for postgraduate programmes without knowing that they require a completed degree first. That is a painful mistake to make. So we have added a clear notice on every postgraduate programme, both for colleges and universities, that tells you upfront: this one is for people who have already finished a qualification. No jargon, no confusing language. Just a simple heads up before you invest your time in an application you cannot submit yet.
TVET is a real option
We want to say this clearly because it does not get said enough. TVET colleges are not a backup plan. They are a direct path to a trade, a career and an income. South Africa desperately needs qualified electricians, welders, IT technicians, chefs, boilermakers and business administrators. NSFAS covers most TVET programmes for qualifying students. And an NCV or NATED qualification can be a stepping stone to a university degree if that is where you want to go later.

What is coming next
We are working on adding more colleges from provinces we do not yet cover, particularly the Eastern Cape, Limpopo and the Free State. We are also working on college-specific application deadline notifications so you never miss a closing date.
