Overview/Details

The NFVF (National Film and Video Foundation) Bursary is a non-repayable grant supporting South African students pursuing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in film and television disciplines at accredited South African tertiary institutions.

The bursary covers 100% of tuition fees. Accommodation costs may be covered subject to fund availability and demonstrated financial need. Performance arts and acting courses are excluded from funding.

Awards are made on the basis of merit and financial need, with preference given to previously disadvantaged individuals and students enrolled at public tertiary institutions. Beneficiaries must reapply each academic year and pass all modules to retain support.
