Overview/Details

The SANAS External Bursary Programme supports unemployed South African youth who demonstrate a strong commitment to furthering their education. The bursary is tuition-only and targets students pursuing:

  • A National Diploma or Degree (funded up to R50,000)
  • An Honours or Postgraduate Diploma (funded up to R70,000)

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Be unemployed
  • Be registered or accepted at a public institution for a National Diploma, Degree, Honours, or Postgraduate Diploma
  • Submit all required documents completely and clearly

Required Documents

Applicants must include:

  • Certified copy of Matric Certificate
  • Certified copy of ID document
  • Payslip of parent/guardian (main breadwinner)
  • Course Outline
  • Proof of Admission/Registration by the Higher Educational Institution
