Requirements

  • South African citizens only
  • Grade 12 with:

    • Minimum of a Level 5 for Mathematics and Physical Science (for Mining and Metallurgical Engineering)
  • Current university students must have an average of 60% or higher (2nd or 3rd year)
  • Submit CV and Grade 12 certificate or latest academic transcript
  • Proof of residence required (preference to local community members around Glencore operations)
  • Applicants already funded by another entity will not be considered
  • Must pass assessments and interviews as part of the selection process
