2026 GCRA Bursary

Applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen (by birth)
• Be a youth aged 18 to 35 residing in Gauteng (proof required)
• Have completed matric
• Be accepted or registered at an accredited public PSET institution (university or TVET college) for undergraduate or postgraduate studies

Required Documents:

• Certified copy of South African ID (by birth)
• Proof of residence in Gauteng (e.g., utility bill or letter from ward councillor)
• Matric certificate and/or most recent academic results (certified)
• Proof of income from parents or guardians, or an affidavit
• Motivation letter (not more than 2 pages)
• Proof of registration or acceptance from a public PSET institution
• Disability or medical report (if applicable)
