BopCons is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year to support students studying Civil Engineering at accredited South African universities. This initiative aims to develop skilled professionals in the construction and infrastructure sectors, especially from historically disadvantaged communities. The bursary covers tuition and related academic expenses and is merit-based with a focus on financial need.

Requirements

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be aged between 18 and 28 years
  • Must be studying Civil Engineering at a recognised and accredited SA university
  • Must have a minimum average of 65%
  • Must not be receiving any other bursary or financial aid
  • Preference given to previously disadvantaged individuals
  • Must demonstrate financial need

  • Certified copy of ID
  • Matric Certificate
  • Most recent academic transcript
  • Fee statement / proof of tuition cost
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivational letter explaining why you should be awarded the bursary
