The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at UJ introduces students to the scientific study of human behaviour, cognition, emotion, and mental processes within South African social and cultural contexts. Students engage with psychological theory, research methodology, developmental psychology, social psychology, and psychopathology — building the foundation for postgraduate training in clinical, counselling, or industrial psychology, or for careers in human resources, social services, education, and marketing research.
