The Bachelor of Radiography in Diagnostics at the University of Pretoria is a four-year professional degree in the Faculty of Health Sciences that qualifies graduates to practise as diagnostic radiographers — health professionals who use X-rays, CT scans, MRI, fluoroscopy, and other imaging technologies to produce medical images for clinical diagnosis. Students receive extensive clinical training in Tshwane's academic hospitals, developing competence across a range of imaging modalities. Graduates register with the HPCSA and are in demand across South Africa's public hospital system, private radiology practices, and diagnostic imaging centres.
