Established in 1987, the Hexagon Trust is a charitable non-profit organisation based in Durban, dedicated to providing financial assistance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To date, the Trust has supported over 18,000 students in pursuing tertiary education. For the 2025 academic year, the Hexagon Trust is offering bursaries to undergraduate students enrolled in Commerce, Engineering, and Science fields. The bursary covers registration fees, tuition fees, and provides a textbook allowance. Recipients are selected based on academic performance, financial need, commitment to their studies, and determination to develop their skills and reach their full potential. Additionally, bursary recipients are expected to contribute their time and expertise to community service during and after their studies and become members of the Hexagon Students Alumni Association.
