Mangosuthu University of Technology

Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) is a university of technology located in Umlazi, near Durban, South Africa. Founded in 1979, MUT focuses on providing career-focused education and skills development. It has four faculties: Engineering and the Built Environment, Management Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Education. MUT emphasizes transforming the lives of students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds and positions itself as a university responsive to the needs of its surrounding community.
