Details

The purpose of the qualification is to equip learners with a comprehensive knowledge base, theory and methodology in the Real Estate field in order to enable them to demonstrate initiative and responsibility in an academic or professional context after graduation.

Including one of the following for full-time studies:: ECO, BUS, ACC 4
Distance students: must be full-time employed and have relevant practical experience (real estate/property related); those who do not meet the subject requirements may apply for access via RPL if they have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience.

  • A Property Sales Agent registered with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA), assisting clients in buying and selling residential and commercial properties across South Africa.
  • A Rental Property Manager responsible for managing residential or commercial rental portfolios on behalf of landlords in South African urban centres such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.
  • A Property Valuer conducting market assessments and valuations for financial institutions, municipalities, and private clients in accordance with South African property legislation.
  • A Property Development Coordinator working with developers and construction companies on new housing and commercial projects, supporting South Africa’s ongoing urban development and infrastructure growth.
  • A Real Estate Investment Analyst advising clients and investment firms on property portfolio performance, market trends, and opportunities within the South African real estate sector.
