The Bachelor of Arts at the University of the Western Cape is a broad humanities degree offering students an extensive range of majors across languages, social sciences, philosophy, psychology, and cultural studies. UWC's rich intellectual tradition — forged during the anti-apartheid struggle — provides a uniquely South African context for critical engagement with questions of justice, identity, and society. Note: Mathematics Code 3 or Mathematical Literacy Code 4 is required for Geography, Tourism, Library and Information Science, Psychology, and Industrial Psychology.
