The Bachelor of Arts at the University of Fort Hare is a broad humanities degree steeped in the university's historic commitment to African intellectual leadership and social justice. UFH has produced some of South Africa's greatest leaders — including Nelson Mandela, Oliver Tambo, and Robert Mugabe — and the BA programme continues to develop critical thinkers equipped to navigate complex social, political, and cultural challenges. Students choose from a wide range of disciplines and develop communication, analytical, and research skills valued across South Africa's public and private sectors.
