• Must be a full-time student accepted and registered for a study programme at the University of Pretoria
• Must participate and excel in one sport code only (no dual funding for multiple sports)
• Must be involved in a sports code offered by TuksSport
• Must sign a written contract (guardian signature required for applicants under 18)
• Annual reapplication and performance-based review required
• Non-compliance with the contract, academic failure, or sport underperformance may lead to the reduction or cancellation of the bursary
• Cancellation of studies may result in the bursary becoming repayable

Bursary Application Procedure:

• Complete and submit the TuksSport bursary application form available from TuksSport
• Ensure the application includes complete and correct information
• Submit to the relevant TuksSport club before 31 July 2025
• Follow up if confirmation of receipt is not received within 3 weeks of submission
• Contact the relevant TuksSport club for more information about sport-specific requirements
• Successful applicants must sign a formal contract annually

Note: You do not need to be studying sport-related programmes to qualify. Each sport bursary is linked strictly to athletic performance and academic compliance.
