The BCom General (Tourism) Extended Curriculum at Nelson Mandela University is a four-year programme providing an extended academic pathway for students entering the tourism and hospitality management field. The additional foundational year strengthens students' academic and quantitative skills before progressing into tourism management, destination marketing, and sustainable tourism modules. As South Africa's tourism sector continues to recover and expand post-pandemic, graduates with a strong managerial foundation are in demand across the Eastern Cape and the broader country.
