The Bachelor of Health Sciences in Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics at DUT prepares graduates to design, manufacture, and fit orthotic devices (splints and braces) and prosthetic limbs for patients with physical disabilities — a profession with exceptionally high demand in South Africa.
