The Bachelor of Social Science in Heritage and Cultural Sciences specialising in Heritage and Cultural Tourism at the University of Pretoria is a three-year degree in the Faculty of Humanities that trains graduates to manage South Africa's remarkable natural and cultural heritage resources and to develop sustainable cultural tourism products from them. Students study heritage management, museum studies, cultural tourism, archaeology, anthropology, and community development — developing the interdisciplinary knowledge to preserve heritage while creating economic opportunities for communities.
