Details

The Extended BCom in Economic Sciences with Information Systems at NWU's Mahikeng campus is a four-year programme that provides students with a supported extended entry into the Information Systems degree. Additional foundational preparation in the first year ensures students develop the computing and economic literacy required for the core curriculum. As South Africa's public sector and development organisations increasingly adopt digital systems, the need for information systems professionals from previously disadvantaged communities is a priority. Graduates are equipped for entry-level IS support, data management, and systems coordination roles in South Africa's growing digital economy.
