South Africa needs more quantitatively skilled graduates from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to enter the financial services and actuarial professions, and this extended programme serves as a bridge into those high-value careers. Students develop deep mathematical skills across the extended curriculum, progressing to advanced financial modelling, risk mathematics, and stochastic analysis.
