The JG Afrika Bursary supports undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing civil engineering qualifications at South African universities. Requirements

  • Be enrolled or accepted for BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering, or MSc or MEng in Civil Engineering
  • Be studying at a recognized South African university for the 2027 academic year

  • Submit certified copy of Matric certificate
  • Provide full academic transcript from first year to current studies
  • Demonstrate academic excellence through previous results
  • Show evidence of academic, sporting, or leadership achievements
  • Disclose any existing bursaries or approved funding
  • Meet the application deadline and submit all required documentation
