The NRF-Sasol Young Academics Accelerator Programme (YAAP) is designed to support South African citizens and permanent residents employed full-time at one of the 26 public universities in South Africa, or those on fixed-term appointments. It funds research proposals aligned with national priorities in sustainability and clean energy, with grants supporting doctoral studies over a three-year period.
