The Council for Geoscience (CGS) is offering bursaries for the 2025 academic year to undergraduate and postgraduate students pursuing studies in geoscience-related fields. The bursary covers registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed books, meals, accommodation or transport allowance, field excursions, analysis costs, and provides a once-off laptop allowance for first-time bursary recipients. Recipients may be required to participate in vocational work during university holidays and may need to work for the CGS after graduation as part of a work-back contract.
