Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be South African citizens under 35 years of age
• Be pursuing a full-time, SAQA-registered qualification for the first time
• Have achieved a minimum of 70% in their last completed academic year
• Be enrolled in an approved field of study at a DHET-registered institution

Required Documents

Applicants must submit:

1. Certified ID copy (SA)
2. Motivational letter (1-2 pages)
3. Certified copies of parents/guardian’s ID or death certificate (if applicable)
4. Recent academic transcripts or certificates
5. Proof of 2024 registration (for current students)
6. CV detailing work experience and background

Additional Documents (if applicable):

• Proof of previous bursary funding or disability documentation
• Proof of 2025 acceptance into the selected institution (for first-year applicants)
