The Extended Diploma in Construction at UJ provides an additional foundational year before students progress into a mainstream construction or built environment diploma. The programme supports students who demonstrate potential for construction studies but require further academic preparation in mathematics and physical sciences, developing the technical and contextual knowledge needed for success in South Africa's built environment sector. Extended programmes at UJ are reserved exclusively for first-time entering students.
