The Hortgro Bursary Programme supports students pursuing careers in the deciduous fruit industry, including agricultural sciences, horticulture, business management, and environmental sustainability. Over the past decade, Hortgro has invested more than R55 million in bursaries, funding 704 students to develop the next generation of industry leaders and researchers.
Recipients receive full or partial tuition coverage, a stipend for study-related expenses, and access to practical experience through internships and mentorships with leading industry professionals.
