The Bachelor of Agriculture (BAg) is a three-year degree offered exclusively at Cedara College of Agriculture on the Pietermaritzburg campus, designed to produce graduates who will become development programme and project managers in the agricultural sector. The programme differs from the BSc in Agriculture in its emphasis on agricultural leadership, rural development, and community engagement rather than the natural sciences. Students are equipped to address South Africa's food security challenges and support smallholder farmers and rural communities across KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.
