The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with specialisation in Agricultural Economics (Extended Programme) at UFH provides an additional year of support for students who need a stronger academic foundation before progressing to the mainstream curriculum. This programme develops skills in farm management economics, agricultural markets, and rural development, preparing graduates to contribute meaningfully to South Africa's agricultural transformation agenda and food security in the Eastern Cape and beyond.
